Title
Quartz Bowls
Subject
Experimenting with the ringing of quartz bowls in Sound Cultures
Description
In our Sound Cultures class, we messed around with various instruments, jamming together and just making sound together. Professor Hope showed us four bowls made of quartz that when you hit they make different pitches, ringing out beautifully. When you drag the mallet around the rim, its creates a very meditative ringing sound.
